Based in the heart of the beautiful Warwickshire countryside, Gospel Oak Studio is one of the premier SSL recording and mixing studios in the Midlands. Based around a fantastic SSL AWS 900 +SE DELTA Control console and stunning Prism ADA-8XR Converters, our recording studio offers seclusion and privacy to recording artists. The studio is one of the most comprehensively equipped recording studios in the Midlands, offering pre-production, recording, and mixing to artists, with matchless facilities and highly skilled, experienced sound engineers and producers.
RECORDING
Gospel Oak’s team of highly skilled, experienced and friendly sound engineers are passionate about bringing our artists vision to life. We aim to deliver a friendly, professional and expert service whilst capturing both the highest quality audio and performances. We offer the full range of recording services to enable this. These include; multi-track recording, overdubbing, and location recording.
MIXING
A great mix is vital to how a track will be presented in its final form. Volume, panning, equalisation, and effects are the four basics of mixing music. Our intention at Gospel Oak is to bring an already good song to life through the mix process and ensure it has the heart and soul to connect with the listener. Our spacious and naturally lit control room is the perfect environment to relax, and create.
We are spoilt for choice at Gospel Oak with our standards and range of equipment, including Pro Tools 12.5 HD Native System, SSL AWS 900 +SE DELTA Control console, PRISM ADA8 XR AD/DA Converters, the highest quality SSL and Morbin Audio outboard dynamics, Bricasti M7 stereo/mono reverb and an almost endless supply of high end plug-ins from UAD, WAVES etc.
PRODUCTION
Gospel Oak have an array of associated producers available for projects, as well as a roster of talented and seasoned professional players that we can recommend. Our production team can be on hand to assist with gathering ideas for the project, selecting songs and/or session musicians, proposing changes to the song arrangements, producing the artist and musicians in the studio, controlling the recording sessions and supervising the entire process from the all important pre-production stage, right through to the final mastering stage.
