Join us this Wednesday for August’s Acoustic Sessions @ The Jam House!

In Live bands, Recording Studio, Uncategorized

As some of you might already know, last month we launched our exciting collaboration with the folk at renowned Birmingham music venue, The Jam House, at their monthly Acoustic Sessions. We’re teaming up with them, along with JP Live Video Production, to celebrate our commitment to developing and supporting emerging talent from the West Midlands, using our combined industry expertise and facilities to take them to the next stage in their careers.

July’s Acoustic Sessions were a huge success, with a fantastic turnout and impressive sets from a line-up of rising stars, including Paris G Tredwell and Aidan and the Wildfires. If you missed it, make sure you get down to this month’s on Wednesday 26th August! We’ve got another set of top up and coming musicians on the bill, with Shelly Quarmby, Jack Hopkinson, Malc Evans, George Wilson, Bryn Teeling, and Esther Turner all taking to the stage, as well as award-winning singer-songwriter and event host Ben Drummond.

Not only will these artists be able to showcase their music on the prestigious Jam House stage to some of the city’s top industry experts, they’ll also have their performance shot and recorded by a professional four man camera crew courtesy of the guys at JP Live Video Production. From there, we’re giving them the further opportunity to join us here in the studio to lay down a live 2-track EP, using our premiere SSL recording and mixing suite with the best engineers in Brum! Not a bad deal, is it?

We’d love to see some of our Gospel Oak friends there on the night, so come along and  enjoy the music! It all kicks off at 8.30pm this Wednesday, 26th July 2015. Oh, and did we mention it’s free?! Check out what you missed at last month’s Acoustic Sessions here.
