The BBC Music Awards will return to Birmingham in 2016!

This week we saw the prestigious BBC Music Awards take place here in Birmingham at the LG Arena! Did any of you guys go along or watch it at home?

The ceremony saw performances from some of the best musicians in the UK at the moment, from the likes of Irish singer-songwriter Hozier, the up and coming Jack Garratt, and legendary Rod Stewart. Amongst the awards handed out were for Best Live Performance of the Year, British Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year, celebrating the best of music across the country…it was quite the evening!

And there was more great news for Birmingham announced on the night – the BBC Music Awards will again take place in Birmingham in December 2016!

We’ve got a feeling 2016 is going to be an exciting year for the thriving music scene in Brum!
