Proud sponsors of the 31st Birmingham International Jazz & Blues Festival!

The 31st Birmingham International Jazz and Blues Festival is well under way around the city, and we’re proud to be official sponsors of this years fantastic event! Each year, the festival brings an astounding 175 performances from some of the best jazz and blues musicians worldwide to around 40 venues in Birmingham – pretty impressive!

So far this week, we’ve seen performances from top international artists, including the likes of Florence Joelle, Stockholm Stompers, and many more, as well as some hot up and coming artists. Our own rising star, Ella Squirrell, has wowed audiences throughout the festival, with live renditions of tracks off her latest EP, Loop, recorded and produced with us at Gospel Oak Studios.

Here at Gospel Oak, we’re passionate about supporting local events like the festival, and believe it’s vital to bring more live music to the city and showcase new artists, such as Ella, as well as help boost the city’s creative industry. Plus, sponsoring such a prestigious event as the Birmingham Jazz and Blues Festival doesn’t half get you a good spot at the gigs!
